A Little About Me

hi! that’s me!

Hi, I am Leoni and am excited to welcome you to Feminine Fusion. I live and work on our dried grape property in rural Victoria, close to the Mighty Murray River with my husband ‘blockie Steve’ and our little girl Maddy the kelpie dog. My surroundings are often inspiration for my creations, taking in the colours, shapes and textures around me.

Our three offspring have now all flown the ‘nest’ to pursue their dreams in the big smoke. I am very family orientated and love to be involved in my children and grandchildren’s lives. I am also an avid vintage collector, especially tea cups.

My empty ‘nest’ left me with a gaping hole in my life, so it became imperative to carve a new life to fill that gap and help me feel useful again. I reclaimed my long neglected creative talents of  sewing, organic skincare making and hand crafted jewellery design.

Jewellery crafting  is my passion and I love working with natural elements like reclaimed silver, copper and brass and gemstones, pearls, Czech glass and ceramic to create feminine wearable jewellery, with a definite quirky aspect.

If I were to describe my style it would be  fun feminine and eclectic. I prefer to make OOAK (one of a kind) pieces because I like to go with my natural design flow. I am however, working on a new range which will feature as regular collections in my shop.

granddaughter ‘Cherub’ conquer her fear of noisy tractors

I am passionate about handmade as I have grown up beside women and men who have passed on the ‘can do yourself’ attitude by designing, crafting and growing home-made items. I hope that we can all do our part in supporting our many talented crafters, artists and designers so we never lose all those wonderful down to earth skills handed down through the generations.

Thanks for popping by and do have a good time looking around.
